Dr. Cheru was patient and showed empathy. She listened and answered not only all of my questions, but my husbands as well. She spent over an hour with us and she never rushed us once. Advice…when you make your appointments research the doctor they all have their own specialty within endocrinology! They were amazing and JH really has a great system! Thank you 🙏

They are horrible! My first meeting with a Dr from this department told me that the only way to help my thyroid condition is to up my medication until I'm 100% reliant on it. The doctor brushed me off when I asked about nutrition and supplements to help. Also, I have to ask them if I need to get blood tests done before my appointments. Once they finally answer, they don't call the lab order in. They send it to you, and most labs have to have the order direct from the doctors office. Guess what, you can't reach an actual person on any phone number associated with the department to get them to send it in. The John's Hopkins name does not make up for the bad care.
