John G. Durham, DPM: Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic

One of the worst medical practices in Florida. I waited two hours to be seen, but the very disorganized secretary or someone at the practice completely forgot me. Then Durham saw me for 3 minutes and never resolved WHY I had severe foot pain. The secretary tried to blame a technician, and the technician tried to make it right by doing some extra treatments on my foot. Avoid this useless joke of a practice and Durham at all costs.

I was looking forward to setting an appointment with Dr. Durham since the office is very close to my home. Read the reviews from previous patients regarding the long wait time. I don't mind waiting when and if the doctor care is exceptional. Unfortunately there are too many comments by different patients of misdiagnosis and rushed appts. as well as MRIs not being read correctly. Thank you to all whom have taken the time to write about their experiences. Needless to say, I will not be seen by this Doctor.

Dr Durham provided one of the best experiences I have ever had in a doctor's office. From the minute I walked in the ladies at the front desk were very kind. The nurse that helped numb me did an excellent job and the doctor was very knowledgeable and personable. If you are ever in need of a podiatrist you will not find a better one in the Orlando area.

I went to see Dr Durham for an ankle injury and ultimately should have listened to my gut with how my injury was handled. I was placed in a boot and brace afterwards for a split tendon that I was told would potentially heal, I even requested a second MRI to see the outcome; however, Dr Durham did not even look at the imaging to provide a proper diagnosis and each visit felt rushed and leaving me feeling like I had more questions than answers. After spending money on way too many copays, one too many MRIs, and wasting my time in the Winter Park office where the wait times were so long, I finally went for a second opinion elsewhere to be told what my gut instinct was screaming - essentially there is no healing it on its own and for me to ride it out as long as I can and come back when I can’

Dr. Thurston and staff at Altamonte are wonderful. I’ve only had 2 appointments but both experiences were great and definitely would recommend them. Dr. Thurston is attentive and takes the time to explain things and does not rush you. He listened to my concerns and took the time to provide feedback.
