Joan M. Kanter DDS, PA

Dr. Kanter is trustworthy, knowledgeable and kind. My four children really like her and her staff. They actually don’t mind going to the dentist and we all appreciate that she treats us all with respect and patience. The office is peaceful and I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than 5 minutes. She is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I’m so grateful to have found her. Highly recommend!

Horrible with kids. I had to coax my kids to get them to do X-rays as if I was the dentist or dental assistant. Not good at communicating with adults and especially not children. Turns her back and walks away while she's talking to you. Unprofessional. Fluoride pusher. Needs to update her knowledge, and get some confidence in her profession. Don't recommend at all. The secretaries are worse. Need training on how to speak to patients and listening skills are absent. Run as fast as you can.

I can not recommend Dr. Kanter and her team enough! She truly cares about the wholistic child and her bedside manner is superior. My youngest was nervous about a procedure and hadn’t told her, she must’ve picked up on it. She went out of her way to make him comfortable to the point of playing a video for him to hear in the background. She has been our children’s dentist for over 10 years and it honestly only gets better!

Dr Kanter and her team are so kind & helpful. Both my children see her and she is always patient and gives quality care each time.

We have seen Dr Kantor for many years w 5 kids. She is kind and gentle. We have always had very good appointments, she let all of us come in together(big families so appreciate this!) and I think maybe 3 cavities among all 5 kids for the last decade? They take time to educate kids about how to care for their teeth.
