Jim's Pharmacy & Home Health

I was born and raised in Port Angeles and have always used Jim's Pharmacy. I have always preferred Jim's pharmacy because they are fast, friendly and conveniently located but this past weekend - I had to call the after-hours pharmacist in an emergency, and she went above and beyond to ease my fears and help my 9-year-old son. She was in no rush and really took time handling my concern and I am truly appreciative! We are lucky to have a home-town pharmacy like Jims available to us!

Worst experience in customer service ive ever had with jims pharmacy. Called just now an hour before closing on a Friday to try and get my prescription filled as I need my injections every Friday. The lady over the phone was clearly upset, and was the complete opposite of helpful. And even though I have insurance she couldn't figure out how to apply Medicaid and just got more and more upset until I asked to have my script sent elsewhere and I was then immediately hung up on. No need to take your frustrations out on customers, maybe they need some training. Best wishes but 10/10 will never go there again.

My wife and I happened upon Jim's Travel Clinic while traveling through the area. We needed to get some vaccines for International Travel. Patricia was incredible! Better than great. She was knowledgeable, pulled all of the CDC recommendations, helped where there were questions or options, and worked with us on getting the most benefit out of our insurance. Our stop here was completely unexpected, but I'm glad we did. Patricia is a gem. 5+ Stars for this operation (and Patricia); I highly recommend,

I’m honestly heartbroken to be writing this, because for the past five years, Jim’s Pharmacy had always provided me with excellent service. I always felt heard, cared for, and treated with genuine compassion. A couple of weeks ago, after months of struggling to afford my medications without insurance, I finally got coverage again. I went to pick up a prescription that was ready, but was initially refused assistance because I only had my insurance ID numbers, not the RX BIN, PCN, etc. I politely asked several times if they could try to look it up through the insurance system, explaining that I couldn’t get those numbers because the insurance office was closed and the information wasn’t available online. Received numerous calls while out of town about a prescription needing to be picked up. Got a last call today so left right away and they said they misfiled (LOST) it. Pretty serious thing to not know where medications are. But to keep setting me aside for an hour and half so they can help others says I don't matter. It's common for prescriptions to never be ready or not be there. Can you come back tomorrow? Can you go park so we can ignore you and help others instead? Why is their failure my punishment? Their lack of attention to detail impacts my life as well as others. Pharmacy shopping.
