Jia Li, MD, PhD - MSK Gastrointestinal Oncologist

She is one of the most caring and wonderful Drs. I have ever met. From the moment Dr. Li walked in the door to the examination room, my husband and I knew we were in the best hands ever. She was so warm, friendly and CARING! She answered all of our questions, reassured us and never rushed through any of our visit. We are grateful to have her for our treatment and to get us through this journey.

Dr. Li treated our mom with patience and grace. She was caring and took the time to explain things in detail. These doctors and nurses at MSK are all angels sent from above. She was always close to schedule and if she was a little late, it was understandable. They’re dealing with one, if not the hardest jobs in the world. I am confused about any negative reviews. She and her team gave us 3 years longer with our loving mom then expected... I highly recommend her.

8 years later and I still love Dr. Li. My experience with Dr. Li was quite the opposite of the one review I read; the only one online at the time. Dr. Li was professional and sincere. She explained things to me in a way I did understand, and she waited for me to take notes before moving on to the next thing. Dr. Li also took the time to answer each of my questions and clarify details when I asked. I went to her with a predetermined negative opinion of her based on the review I read, and that fact that I had to be there at all but left with a good feeling about Dr. Li. She called when she said she would. Everyone on staff that I interacted with were all professional, friendly, and helpful. Hopefully more people had/have the positive experience that I did. My only reason for 4 stars inste

Just saw Dr Li today and she was amazing - warm, caring, listened to my husband and related to his needs. She answered ALL our questions and concerns as this was our first visit - even took time to spell the names of some new meds to me. DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS - People should be held accountable for their slander.

Dr. Li shows great care for her patients. She is quick to provide all tests results so that I don't have to keep waiting with that horrid anticipation. She answers all my questions, she is gentle and caring and has a sense of humor. If you are thinking about seeing her I highly recommend Dr. Jia Li.
