Kid with 3 days of a high fever and in a lot of pain. Swollen eyes, soaking through mattress in sweat. Barely able to eat. Very emotional. Large white patch in the back of throat. Dr Coleman said he had a swollen puss filled tonsil: Rapid strep was negative. Regular strep takes 3 days for results. No prescription offered. I called after appointment because I was concerned ibuprofen and kid’s autism had masked severity. He called in some lidocaine and 1 day of prednisone to reduce swelling but said he stood by his diagnosis. The girl on the phone who relayed his message was very kind and professional. I did 3 second internet search on how one differentiates between viral and bacterial tonsillitis- The difference is bacterial has swollen puss filled tonsils. I had to go to another doctor

Spoke with a receptionist over the phone, incredibly rude, cut me off mid sentence. Will not be using them solely based on this experience
