Jennika Lyn McPeck, PA

Didn’t realize until the day before that my kids appointment was not with a dr. She went to the appointment hoping to get testing for her high risk family history of ovarian and colon cancer. She was treated as normal risk - no pap until 21 and given birth control and a referral for genetic counseling. Copay was $50 should have been $40 according to card. Waste of time. She also explained she has cramps that cause her to throw up and not be able to walk. No advice or check on her ovaries to see if she had cysts.Referred her to a genetic counselor rather than order the tests. Did not even examine her just talked and gave her birth control. Planned parenthood would have done the same.

She was amazing, she explained everything that needed to be done before I had to hop up on the table and then during the procedure she walked me through what she was doing again and tried to distract me by asking questions. I’m a very anxious person so that helped. I also REALLY appreciated that she noted and absorbed the info of my allergies as it related to pain management. Every doctor has the same notes of my allergies but every single doctor I’ve seen in the past always suggests taking what I’m allergic to but she commented not to take it and to try these other things. It is such a small thing but it meant so much to me and made me feel like a person and not a number to rattle off a script.

The nurses were very friendly and listened to my concerns. When setting up my appointment the nurse found me an appointment but it was months out due to the policy of me not being see in the last 5 years, I was considered a new patient. The nurse without me asking kept looking for notes on the last time I had seen Jennika. She found I a note that was dated within the 5 years and called me to reschedule my appointment to a sooner date.

I had such a wonderful experience. I am going some issues with my other gyno and I found these wonderful people from the time I arrived to the time I left I felt heard I felt like she cared very knowledgeable very caring with the situation I am in. I would recommend anyone here. Thank you very much for the great experience I had with you all. I left there feeling a lot better about my situation so once again thank you.

Jennika is awesome! She takes the time to understand and address concerns. She does a great job of asking follow up questions. I appreciate her bedside manner. The staff at the office are great and easy to work with. I have recommended several friends and family members and will continue to do so.
