Jefferson Washington Square Urgent Care

I have never felt the need to review a hospital before lol Went in for chest pain. Received an EKG that had to be done twice because they didn’t do it right the first time. Half way through the visit I realize nobody has asked me a single question about medications or family history - yet confirmed wrong/outdated medication on my discharge papers. After listening to them socializing out in the hallway for about 10 minutes the nurse came back in and told me EKG looked fine (thankfully) and said “if chest pain continues for more than 30 minutes go to an emergency room immediately” - clearly nobody listened to me because it had been hurting for TWO weeks! I have visited here about five times since I moved to Philadelphia & have consistently had a positive experience. The staff is professional & friendly & I have always been taken care of quickly. Today I visited with my 6 year grandson & he received excellent, kind care. I highly recommend Jefferson Urgent Care in Washington Square.

This is the second time I’ve been to this urgent care. Paid $100 copay for them to do absolute nothing!!!! I waited close to 2 hrs for them to do nothing. The CRNP was great but it was a short Asian woman doctor that came in at the end and her bedside manner was horrible. She lacks empathy and her energy made me feel not cared for. Never again…never!

It’s incredible that Dr. Hong continues to be allowed to practice at this site with the amount of negative reviews written about her. As a nurse who also works at an outpatient Jefferson office, I typically don’t care enough to write reviews about long wait times or give staff the benefit of the doubt. However, I want to amplify the voices that say Dr. Hong needs to be spoken with by higher ups because speaking from a perspective of a fellow HCW, not only is her bedside manner flat and short, but she does not explain anything to the patient. I am lucky I knew what follow up questions to ask, but even then she way she replied made you feel as though she was irritated that you even had any follow up questions. Not once did she ask if I had any additional questions before ending the visit. S

Went to this urgent care in the morning because of worsening cough, hoarseness, sore throat and shortness of breath when lying down. I saw the CRNP Christina. The interview was extremely short and she almost left the room without looking at my throat. I got the chest X-Ray completed and there was no issue thankfully, and it was likely viral. However, there was a focus on my left ear feeling full (which I explained was new and after I moved my head). After looking, she said I had a lot of wax and i had an irrigation completed...which didn't remove that much wax and the fullness in my ear is worse unfortunately.
