Dr. Stover is wonderful. Didn't have an appt but only waited a few minutes. Was very gentle and concerned with my shihtzu. Even called 2 days later to check on her to see how she was doing. I would definitely recommend Jay Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Stover.

Took our two female 1 year old German shepherds in to get spayed in Sept. I called for information the day before and was gotten in quickly ( next day.)The clinic in Jay was small, but the vet was professional, compassionate, accommodating and personal service was given --even to the point of The veterinarian giving cell phone contact information to us for any questions or concerns or emergencies after the surgery. He seemed to genuinely care about your pet. Both girls did fine with the surgery. We did call with a question and was given professional service, quick answers and assistance. It was a very surprisingly busy veterinary clinic for the size of the town, but I would highly recommend this vet and will use him in the future even though we live In Northwest Arkansas, about 45 to 5

If I could give ten stars I most certainly would. This was my first time going to the clinic. Dr. Stover is the best vet I've ever been to. He was so kind and caring. He was very thorough checking my senior dog and didn't rush through the appointment. He even called me on Monday to check and see how my dog was doing. Definitely my vet from now on.

We were in Jay for an event when one of our dogs became very ill. She was diagnosed in October (by our vet back home) with a chronic illness and we were afraid this was the end of her life. I called several vets in the surrounding area and was shocked when someone answered the phone at this clinic instead of an after hours recording. While sick, our dog was stable so we were able to wait until they opened. My husband and I were so afraid that we would be leaving the vet without or girl but after a few minutes we had new medications and new recommendations. He was honest and understood that we wanted to keep our dog as happy and comfortable as possible.
