Jasper Point

Since the passing of my dad. I was wanting to move my mom from Stone Mountain Run to Jasper Point. We met with the staff and they even showed us the room that they were going to put her in. This was to be a easy transfer because they are part of the same company. After, leaving two message with the third call I was informed that they were not able to facilitate her needs. I am so mad that I am done with their whole organization

I wish I could give this place a lower score...my sister is disabled and had to go there for therapy due to falling and crushing her knee had to have emergency surgery...they left her for 12 hour's in her own feces...they withheld her seizure medicine which made her have 4 seizures...she was supposed to have 15-30 minutes of physical therapy a day she was lucky to get it once a week...her surgeon was very upset he said she should have been walking a long time ago plus the oxy 10's the whole time she was there so he had to give her medicine for withdrawal symptoms...we finally checked her out and having to start at the beginning of physical therapy...you guy's should be ashamed of yourselves!

Horrible, saw them withhold food from a lady named Betty. The cart came out and food was given out to folks but Betty got nothing. I ask about her food for her about 4-5 times, and was told not to worry about her. All the while she was crying and begging for food and those 4 women stood there and was laughing at her. Totally sickening. About 2 weeks after that mom was taken to the hospital and the therapist there in the emergency room said that she was the worse case of neglect she'd ever seen. I told the therapist that I'd been trying to go as much as possible and help with her but I had gotten sick and couldn't go for a few days and ever time I couldn't go I guess they ignored her. Her hands and wrist were bloody up under the skin like fresh blood. They have since changed names to Jasper

I wish I had a better review of this facility but I don’t. While there are some capable folks I feel like I am in some downward slide of care.

I feel sorry for anyone who is trying to get their loved one into this facility! From the hateful receptionist to the admissions coordinator, there is not one ounce of compassion. The admissions coordinator did nothing to try and help me get my Dad admitted. She would not communicate anything to me about what information was required to get him reviewed to see if they would take him. It was so frustrating! And heartbreaking. I finally just gave up and got him in another facility in Ellijay. The administrative staff at Grandview is the absolute worst!! Don’t even waste your time, go somewhere else for a place for your loved one.
