Jason R. Oberhand Family Dentistry

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this one is warranted. Dr Oberhand’s office has always gone out of their way for our family, and I feel like sharing our experience could be worthwhile to other locals looking for a great dental practice. Dr Oberhand’s office and staff are all fantastic. Top notch. Jillian is fantastic, and is my “go-to” hygienist. She knows my quirky mouth better than anyone! :) But, honestly all of the hygienists are great. Dr J’s assistant Hanna is awesome as well, and super personable. My family have been patients of this practice for over a decade, and Dr J has always taken care of us as if we were his own family. I am a big baby and nervous wreck when it comes to dental procedures. Dr J makes visits feel like a causal trip to his office no matter what work he need

Used to be good but not for many years. He can be nice but way too busy. His office is always adding new people but the long established ones really can't get an appointment. There is only one dentist. He was out a lot last year. Not sure for personal reasons. It is way too hard to get an appointment. He has an office manager or wife who is very moody. One day she acts okay and next very difficult. It's very sad because the practice used to be okay. Definitely not since Covid. Not anymore. If you check you will see they have read many bad reviews in recent years from former customers, always complain about his office manager wife or someone else. Such a disappointment!!! The unprofessional and bossy attitude of the dentist and his wife is unimaginable. I waited a long time for this appointment, which happened to finally arrive on the very stressful day of my dog's surgery. I did not want to be a no-show, so I arrived less than five minutes late. However, as soon as the front desk lady attempted to give me forms to fill out, I was immediately scolded for not having my forms ready. The entire experience was surreal. I was told to leave. This was the most terrible experience I have had in a medical office.

After over 20 years with this practice my entire extended family will be leaving. My mother called multiple times begging for Dr. Oberhand to call her back after being charged $14,000 for a dental work that broke within days. She was told they were done with her and she needed to go somewhere else. I called for my mother simple asking for a return call for her and was blown away how I was treated. The office manager and wife of the dentist, screamed at me. Told me my mother was a liar and never called and said we were no longer welcomed there. It was disgusting. I have never wrote a google review before, but I am appalled by this treatment. Go somewhere else!

My first visit here. The reception staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The wait time was perfect. I saw Danny, the hygienist and he was very professional, friendly, informative, helpful and overall, a delight. They all worked together and communicated well. I was very pleased with my visit and am happy with the practice.
