Janine Elder, OD

I had my first visit with Dr. Elder on Saturday and everything went fine. I was able to check in easily and had time before my appointment to browse the glasses section, where I loved that a few petite options were offered. I went back for my appointment on time and worked quite a bit with Dr. Elder’s assistant, who was friendly while doing the vision tests. I didn’t find Dr. Elder herself to be overly personable. She had a slightly robotic manner to her, but I appreciate that she tried to answer my questions in regards to astigmatisms and dryness. I’m happy that I was able to receive a printed prescription to try ordering my glasses online. While a couple of the styles in the store were nice, I found the selection to be limited. I appreciate Dr. Elder and think she is great! The office however has a lot to work on! I walked in 10 minutes late and had called earlier to say I'd be 10 minutes late. They would not take me in. I work in the health profession and have seen people 20 minutes late if they have a good excuse! Typically the staff will come and ask me if I will see the patient. They did not bother to ask Dr. Elder.

First time seeing Dr. Elder, thought her and the office were great. I would highly recommend.

This is my mother, and I love her very much. She's a very good optometrist and she has helped prove to me that I have 20/20 vision. Thank you, Mom! :)
