Greater Connecticut Oral & Dental Implant Surgery

This is the second of my wisdom teeth that Doctor Kurtz has pulled. Each time it was done very well. The folks there made me feel comfortable, and Doctor Kurtz was professional and knows how to speak to others, putting them in a confident state of mind. Well, I'm now down to 1/2 of my wisdom. Hopefully I'll be able to keep the other two wisdom teeth!!!

Words cannot express how appreciative I am for the help I received at the Greater Connecticut Oral & Dental practice (New Milford Office). I was given an initial consultation within two weeks of calling and surgery was scheduled with very little delay. Every facet from the front desk administration to the nurses were professional and efficient. Dr. Lee was very thorough and concise in his explanation of the prospective solution for the removal of a 58 year old baby tooth and two implants. On the day of my surgery I was quite nervous and the receptionist reassured me with what to expect based on her own experience letting me know that I was in very good hands. Going into my wisdom tooth extraction appointment I was very nervous. I had had some rough extractions as a kid so I was really not looking forward to going through that again. My experience with Dr. Lee was so smooth. Though his demeanor was more to the point and business-like than warm and comforting, he did such an excellent job and I experienced it just as he said I would. I had IV sedation, so just as advertised I fell asleep right as the procedure began and the next thing I knew the very kind nurse was helping me out of the chair into the comfortable recovery room. Recovery is also going very smoothly following the given directions. The only pain I felt through the whole procedure and recovery was that of the IV needle going in. My experience with Dr. Kurtz was very pleasant, and I felt confident in putting my trust in him. Before my procedure I had a few questions, so I called the office. The first time I was put on hold and waited so long I eventually had to hang up. After trying to call a second time later, I felt that I could have been spoken to more politely. This is in no way a reflection of Dr. Kurtz, who I would refer to family members and friends for oral surgery.

I’m new to the area and was referred to Dr. Kurtz and Greater Connecticut Oral and Dental Implant Surgery practice by my primary dentist. What a great referral!
