It's been a few years since seeing Jameela Goudarzi, DNP, FNP, but felt obliged to come and leave a review. I echo the other review that they felt rushed, patronized, and not listened to. I'm a nurse, had been having health issues, and my symptoms were worsening. I left my previous PCP at MUSC due to seeing a different resident physician most times vs. seeing a consistent provider. Dr. Goudarzi had great reviews at that time so I felt this would be a good change. However, I felt she treated my symptoms as trivial (even high blood pressure was dismissed when I've never had high blood pressure before). She was reluctant to order labs and, looking back at my notes, gave no solid treatment plan (other than wear my glasses and take ibuprofen - furthering the patronized feeling). After not feeli

Never go to this practice! I had to wait 3 months to be seen then I wasn't allowed to address my issues because "I ran out of time". Be prepared for a 30 minute limit! CNA never asked the purpose of my visit. The student nurse practitioner spent 80% of my alotted 30 min visit taking my history that was already in my chart. I told him I had a list of issues that I wanted addressed. Jameel came in an spent the next 15% following up with the student on history. She then refused to adress my list of issues saying my time was up. What a joke! To refuse to address the reasons that I came to visit the NP in the first place. I was refused to address the reason for my visit because "my time was up" Don't go to this practice or any MUSC based physician office. There are too many other options

Unfortunately, if I could give a lower rating, I would. My very beloved physician from Roper retired and I sought a family doctor with MUSC since that was where my specialists are. I am a very healthy 63 year old medically educated female who has been on the same medications for decades so my need for care is minimal. Not only did the minimal care not be met, I had to repeatedly call and leave messages for follow up on lab results and x-rays. The messages I received did not come from my care giver but a medical assistant who gets vital signs and updates the chart before you actually see a caregiver. The response I received was to make an appointment or seek care elsewhere which is exactly what I have done. I had already tried to schedule a visit in the office or virtual given I was not get

I had an awful experience with them. Unfortunately there is no zero star to choose. I went for my annual checkup on 04/19/23 And I asked my insurance in advance . And they told me it is totally covered. A month later they sent me a bill in amount of $179. I called the billing department and they put it on review. And asked for the explanation of benefits from my insurance to adjust the bill. I called my insurance and they called the billing department and I was on the line. The insurance told the billing department they should correct their codes to be covered because everything is covered in this annual visit if it is new patient or not. The billing department representative said it is under review and we should wait for the new statement. The insurance sent me the required paper for the

My primary care MD of over 2 decades retired, so more than 2 months ago I made a "first available" "new patient" in the same practice with Jameela Goudarzi. The day of the appointment I called to confirm the time only to be told that the practioner had canceled the appointment. I received no notification of the cancelation. I'll be looking for a reliable practioner.
