Jacobi Medical Center Rehabilitation

Not recommended. The rehab at Jacobi in the Bronx is terrible. Nurses don’t care, don’t answer questions, and love to send people to different places instead of helping. They are not professional at all and have nasty attitudes. The emergency nurses don’t warn before poking needles and clearly don’t know how to give IVs or injections it hurts every time. Honestly, I don’t know where they even got their licenses from.

Be prepared to wait at least 3+ hrs to be seen.. even with an appt, kinda hard to deal w being a pregnant woman having to go hungry waiting so long to be seen and all !! The staff at the desk have the most DISGUSTING attitude EVER !! TBH once inside the nurses & midwives are generally nice. But the staff at the front desk ruins the place period !! They really need to learn how to speak to people & stop being so nasty !!!

The worst hospital you can come to. Expect to wait at least 10 hours before you get anything done. You literally have to have a gun shot wound to get marginal care. Avoid this place like the plague. The staff is very unprofessional and like to gossip about patients. I can't believe places like this exist and are allowed to stay in business.

Prepare to wait 2+ hours after your scheduled appointment. Even with a newborn. Thats for wic, prenatal care, pediatricians and obgyn. The other day i waited 3 hours for my postnatal appointment. Ridiculous

All FLOOR 7 STAFF specially the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) are simply GREAT. Professionals with good preparation and experience. Beatifull personal, very passionate and compromise with the care of the patients. Amassing! Parents of  baby patients is a different history... THANKS!
