1st. Montefiore (or any other hospital) deserves your campus more than you, they'd actually put it to good use. Yall deserve 0 stars tbh if it was allowed. 2nd. This place is horrible, always backed up and disorganized, patients just left waiting in pain & its like the nurses at the front desk dont care (they've even told me point blank to my face while in pain that they dont think I need to be there). Same with the urgent care section as well. Some of the doctors and nurses there are truly trying to help but with others like these theres no use. Had a ER visit where I had to wait over 3 hrs in pain just to get my vitals taken, not even to see the doctor like who's running this place(not to mention once u see someone half the time they dont want to do any test even if u ask them & give th

Horrible, was in there for 10 hours yesterday with a broken ankle, never elevated it, ignored when I asked for medication for the pain, jept bumping my wheelchair & didnt even ask if I wanted to eat or drink. I seen nurses on hospital computers shopping, talking about the next party, having attitudes when asked a question, & transport females being rude on their phone and almost hitting my foot. Extremely unprofessional. Only when I raised my voice and yelled at them on the 10th hour is randomly when my discharged papers came & I could leave. Who ever works on the whole side on room W8, that long desk is very unprofessional and useless. Horrible experience from the nurses to the doctors and the whole staff. "The reception at Jacobi Hospital is quick and welcoming, but the number of on-duty doctors in the emergency department is very limited. You may have to wait 3 to 4 hours after the initial procedures before being seen. People with severe pain are at risk of high blood pressure or other complications due to the long wait. After waiting for 3 hours, I even considered going home despite the severe pain I was experiencing.

“I give Jacobi Medical Center’s ER a 0 out of 10. My cousin has a serious heart history and has undergone multiple heart surgeries. Today, while at home, he suddenly vomited blood from his mouth and nose, so I rushed him to Jacobi’s ER. Despite the clear life-threatening emergency, he was left waiting for 20 minutes before being seen — while only one other stable patient was in the waiting room. This was a shocking failure of duty and a dangerous act of negligence. He is still admitted in the hospital now, and I do not know what his outcome will be. I demand that this complaint be taken extremely seriously, and that immediate corrective action is made.
