Jacksonville Memorial Hospital

Too bad you have to leave a one star rating and not a zero. This hospital has no compassion for a patient, only wants to let them die or put them into Hospice.They let my significant other (partner) of 40 years lay there and die without trying to find a way to treat him and keep him alive. His Dr in the ICU was Dr Hadaad, he is a smug, arrogant, person, does not try to find a way to help someone, just wants them out of his hair, definitely does not need to be a Dr. I would RUN away if he is your Dr., or if your referred to him, if you want to heal and get treatment. Stopped dialysis treatment and caused my partners kidneys to fail, then Watched him take his sweet time doing chest compressions on my partner and called his death so quickly and so smug. The staff was amazing. Everyone there we interacted with in ICU was friendly, polite, helpful and caring.

If I can give them a zero I would. I had never felt so humiliated and embarrassed as I was at memorial hospital. The radiology/imaging department can do with some training on how treat/interact with patients. I had a horrible experience. I had a very sensitive MRI scheduled and I was already embarrassed and felt so nervous about the test and the techs didn't make it any better they were not treating me with the necessary Courtesy. It would have made this testing a little bit less painful, easier and less uncomfortable. Instead of making faces and look like I was an inconvenience for them to perform the necessary testing that needed to be done. I will not recommend the imaging department at Memorial Hospital at all to anyone.

Had a terrible experience last night at this hospital. Staff just seemed unprofessional, and out of everyone the front desk lady was the nicest and respectful, but the nurses were just overall rude and seemed like they didn’t care to help. If I have someone taking care of my physical well being, I want compassion and empathy not someone who seems to be dragging their feet and seems to just hate their life. ALSO, this hospital is disgusting. Waiting room stays trashed , bathrooms don’t seem to be sanitized, and they don’t even give you privacy whenever your name is called they ask you questions out in the waiting room in front of everyone.

Memorial hospital sure has some exceptionally outstanding employees. The ones that I had contact with were. Physical therapy Caitlyn ,Alissa , Taylor and Ian P. Thank you for the birthday balloon and cupcakes that you took the time in your busy day to go get me. Nurses were Chris , Cheryl and future nurse Donnisha that will be making an extraordinary nurse and a great asset to any hospital lucky enough to have her as an employee. I hope I'm not forgetting anyone. And of course Dr. El-Bahri who did my surgery , and also his team of very friendly and professional people. Thank all of you for making my trip to Memorial a very pleasant experience. Cindy Souders
