I’d give zero or negative stars if I were able. I will never EVER give my business to this establishment. They were referred to me by the Dr we saw at Storm Eye and noted as accepting Medicaid. My son is disabled so he has TEFRA and is FEE FOR SERVICE. I looked online and saw they accept Medicaid however I wanted to clarify before making the 45 minute drive. I called the store on 2/4 and the woman I spoke with even put me on hold to clarify with someone. She came back to the phone and told me it wouldn’t be a problem to come in. I drive 45 minutes to be told by the EXTREMELY RUDE girl at the front desk they don’t accept it, it doesn’t matter if we are FFS, etc. Now getting the run around I asked her whom I could have spoken with that gave me the information and how come there is differing

As a loyal customer of over ten years, I’m deeply disappointed with the service I recently received at Jackson Davenport. I came in with the intention of purchasing glasses specifically for computer work, requesting a focal length suitable for arm’s length viewing. However, when I picked them up, I realized the focal point was far too short forcing me to sit uncomfortably close to the screen, about 12 inches away. Expecting a reasonable solution given it had only been a few days since pickup, I was surprised to be told I’d need to pay additional fees and undergo another exam. I had already spent over $300, and now the glasses are essentially useless to me. This isn’t the first time I’ve been disappointed. The front desk technician that fitted me for my glasses was helpful and patient. The doctor is always friendly and explained everything in layman’s terms. The best.

First time, I felt comfortable with the staff. My vision exams was very good, explanation after each exam. I will return next year.

We’re new to South Carolina. Needed eye exams. This office is very nice and clean. Very professional with a lot of frame choices. The eye doctor and staff were friendly and helpful
