J. Steele McIntyre, MD - Granger Medical Clinic

Dr. McIntyre is a very professional and efficient provider. He has helped me multiple times with the arthritis in my knee. He listens carefully as I explain to him my difficulties and then takes the time to carefully explain my options to me. He then provides the services I need as we have counseled together about those options. Though he takes time with me, sometimes his assistants do the preliminary discussions, and I never feel rushed, his office staff and all involved move not only effectively, but efficiently so that I never have a long wait in either the front office, as I wait to be taken to examing rooms, or in the examining room waiting for the exam and whatever procedures may be needed. I highly recommend Dr. Mcintyre and his office.

Wait was reasonable. Dr McIntyre was well prepared prior to my visit, having previewed recent records. He was obviously knowledgeable and interested and he answered my questions thoroughly. The cortisone shot he prescribed and administered has been effective so far.

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. McIntyre and his team. I self-referred to him after doing some research, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I met him, Dr. McIntyre was incredibly personable, kind, and compassionate. He truly listened to my concerns and performed a very thorough clinical exam with great care and professionalism. Throughout the entire experience, both he and his assistant were warm, supportive, and knowledgeable. He was honest and upfront about what to expect, which I appreciated. Most importantly, he was the only one who truly understood my problem—and I finally have relief. His clinical skills and dexterity are truly exceptional. I had some irregular issues that included an avulsion fracture of my hamstring and a hip joint full of cysts and bone spurs that I thought were old dance/gymnastics injuries and ignored for 5 years until I could barely walk. After a hip replacement, the avulsion fracture became nearly unbearable with swelling, pain, muscle spasms etc. I was referred to Dr Steele and he has the perfect combination of surgical knowledge and in-office skills (that sometimes surgeons don’t have). He’s given me options I never thought about and he patiently explains benefits/risks so I can decide. He’s been huge in getting me back to a good place and I’d recommend him to anyone, especially if you’ve had pain or issues for years with no real solutions.
