J Dental Care

I had gone here for a wisdom tooth extraction once and they did an okay job so i thought id go again for my other side but when i called for an appointment they were flat out rude and dismissive. I woke up to aching pain and couldn’t open my mouth and speak so first i had my boyfriend call them to make an appointment. The receptionist kept implying they dont have any availability and when asked “so whens the next availability” she kept insisting there was none. So then I had my mom call in and easily made an appointment which is confusing and discriminating…then they had called me a few minutes later stating they had a earlier availability slot. But when I call back they switch up stating it was the wrong number etc and that they never said so. I truly dont think it was the dentists fault

I have been suffering for years due to a failed implant from several years ago. This clinic sees patients as nothing more than a source of money. Even after all the pain I endured, they removed even more teeth and returned my deposit — clearly a place I will never return to and cannot recommend to anyone.

Unprofessional front desk and with insurance claims. Trying to ask for pre-treatment estimates and they act like we're robbing them and they look down on people who want to know what the costs are and what are associated with them. If you want us to pay without knowing then just set up a shady shop and don't try to act all professional until we ask questions. If I'm paying for dental insurance and want to know the costs beforehand that shouldn't be something to look down on, it should be standard working procedure.. they should do better.

***BEWARE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED*** My wife went there because they were cheaper than in Columbia, SC and Korean's usually look out for each other. Boy was I wrong. We paid $10,000 for implants. Once they were completed and installed we had nothing but problems. The anchors would come lose, and the dentures themselfs fell apart at least 7 times. We put a couple thousand miles on our car driving back and forth. Finally after about a dozen trips (this is no exageration) we asked for 10% ($1000) partial refund so we could have them repaired locally and they refused. I honestly don't think this guy should have a license. At one fitting he had them on so tight that he sent a nurse out to our car where I was waiting for me to come back in to pull the dentures lose. 100% true story. That's

The dentist is very honest, kind, and knowledgeable. I miss the previous dental hygienists that worked here (the younger and older ladies) They were much more gentle, thorough, and informative. The current hygienist is so rough handed and all over the place. I had my first worst experience on my most recent basic cleaning - it felt like I went in for a deep cleaning bc there were a lot of blood and she even chipped my front inner tooth with the scaler.
