Terrible time getting ahold of someone over the phone although they offer fully online classes. Finally got up there in person just to have someone who couldn’t care any less about assisting me with enrollment/ Financial aid. I’ll take my education elsewhere.

Firstly no one ever, everrrr answers the phones or emails to advisors. Not sure what they’re getting paid for, I’ve been calling for a month no answer. My classes were dropped due to a fasfa error and I literally had to call Indianapolis to get a hold of someone! Was told I have to go into campus to fill a form to reinstate. The ATTITUDES! There isn’t a kind/happy person that works in the EC campus! Beyond rude. I had the displeasure to speak to an advisor, David Barocio, beyond rude!! Wouldn’t look at me while speaking, such a bad attitude, and rushing me out of his office while I still had questions. The fact I’m paying for this and can’t even get into classes or any help is beyond. Please do better.

Only reason this is 3/5 stars is because of the few people that are good that I dont want to make the whole campus look bad. If you need help dont bother with reception youll get a bright smile and a shove out the door. I wouldnt bother with advising either, ive been told they "cant" check if a class that was dropped in East Chicago is available in Valparaiso. An hour drive later I find out they all have access to the same system and the class is available in Valparaiso. It seems like a lot of people here hate what they do and give cookie cutter information just to get you out the way. Even on a low foot traffic day its the same. If you can go to the Valparaiso campus dont bother at East Chicago.

Don't answer the phone im working in indiana and have illinois cna license so i need to convert it or however that works, but nobody answers..who is working cause y nobody ever answers the phone??? Now in gonna lose out on my job because nobody want to pick the phone up
