IU Health Urgent Care - Avon

Got here at 7PM and they refused to see me . Lady at the front desk claimed they were booked out bur nobody was there and I overheard the bigger nurse with dark hair and glasses tell the front desk lady not to take anybody while she sat in the lobby catching up and conversing with a relative. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Doctor was excellent in service so was staff during our visit. Had appointment and they was running behind. But they serviced my child and I quickly took only an hour and half! Nice clinic for emergencies..

I was going through an extremely difficult time, and because of IU I got the care that I needed. So I applaud them. In a shout out to staff and their nurse practitioners, they are doing an extraordinary job.So proud to have got to know all of you on our professional level.Ten stars

Please stay away from this place. I came here for severe ear pain, the doctor looked in my ear and said it was fine and to go home and “remove the wax” with over the counter ear drops. After 1 more day of unbearable ear pain, I went to a different urgent care, and of course they removed the wax and looked at my eardrum and gasped, I had an ear infection the whole time!! This doctor here couldn’t even see my eardrum, the wax was blocking it and they didn’t remove it to look at my eardrum! I had to go to a different urgent care for them to tell me I had a severe ear infection. Total waste of money 😒! This could’ve caused me serious harm if I took this doctor’s advice, I’m so glad I didn’t ignore the pain and got a second opinion!
