Few complaints about the practice itself. Dr Issa is quick and got my testosterone levels back up to normal range. Staff is friendly. My main issue is the billing practices. Each visit, I am told a very high co-pay amount I must pay upfront because I have not hit my deductible for the year. I have shown them with documentation directly from my insurance that specialist visits DO NOT apply to my deductible and I have only 20% coinsurance. When they run my insurance in their system, it says that the deductible DOES apply and they try to get me to pay $145 plus. The last few appointments they have charged me about $45 as my copayment after going back-and-forth about this issue. The office is hard to get a hold of. They recommended certain diabetes products and won't do the legwork to get it set up. It's been a month and I still don't have the CGM and the pump. If you get a CGM or are ordered one, you can't get the test strips through your insurance. So this is costing me out the nose right now. As of today still not resolved. I can get their insulin pump, but it does me no good if I don't have the CGM to connect it to. They will not contact the pharmacies for your CGM or pump. So the pharmacies/companies contact you and you're playing middleman. They tell you what they need. You relay that to Issas office. You contact the company again. They tell you something else is messed up. Rinse and repeat to infinity. Every few days if you're lucky you may get a response

How this practice has 4.1 stars is beyond my comprehension. I arrived for my appointment 30 mins early and not only was I taken back after my appointment time, but everyone who came in AFTER me was taken back BEFORE me. MA does their thing and I proceeded to wait nearly 45 mins in the exam room while listening to Dr. Issa go from room to room around me. My appointment was at 11am and didn’t see the physician until 11:52! Then my entire new patient visit was less than 5 minutes! During that time, no physical exam was done, no lab work was ordered and was told to come back in 6 months. I would highly recommend finding a different provider if you’re able to.

Don't walk, RUN for this scam. -Didn't bill me through mychart, but sent debt to collections. (they use mychart when its convenient for them, but not always so....) -Wouldn't refill my prescription because of gov shutdown (i have private insurance). -$120 copay up front, regardless of service provided or coverage. -Doctor has awful bedside manner. He wont look at you and acts bored and uncaring. -Doesn't answer there phone...ever.

The worst! He doesn't care if a medicine give you side effects. He only tests for one thing regarding thyroid. He doesn't care about T3 or anything else! He's just a generic dude that comes off the same conveyor belt as all the other doctors. I told him I'm so exhausted since starting his medication, that I'm going to the bathroom on the floor. He completely glossed over it.
