Island Doctors

I was a new patient due to insurance changes. Scheduled appt with Dr Quinn for initial consult. She wasn’t available so saw PA. Had bloodwork done, EKG and scheduled a follow up appt 2 weeks later (due to lab work taking time). Received call that Dr Quinn is again unavailable. I requested a refill on medication that I take daily and was informed the PA couldn’t call it in without another appt. Well-no appts available. Never have I heard of a doctor being unavailable without someone covering patients. Apparently that’s the way this practice works. Will change ASAP and keep reporting to every agency/social media available to me. Think twice before using Island Doctors in Jacksonville Beach, FL. They don’t seem to have patient care-concerns at the top of their list.

The staff at Island Doctor's are very friendly. And Dr. Quinn is great. I have been going there for 8 years. My care has been excellent. Couldn't ask for a sweeter doctor.

Island doctors Jax beach has to be the best place I have ever had in my medical life. The staff are Top. Notch and dr Quinn is like family she cares for my health and she can always count on them . I’ve been a loyal patient for over 7 years

Melissa at the front is an amazingly friendly and compassionate lady; also very professional! She makes you feel so cared for. The medical assistant is professional and easy to talk to. Dr. Quinn make you feel at ease. She's has great bedside manners! Such a wonderful doctor!

Front desk was wonderful. The M.A. was wonderful. The wound care specialist they sent to my home was very condescending and had to demand him to leave my home immediately. Dr.Linda Quinn never introduced herself and seemed to be offended when I asked who she is. She also raised her voice at me twice when I asked for clarification over conflicting things I was told by different employees. Dr. Paula Sewell was fine. Lisa the referral lady was very kind and helpful. Good luck going there. I also noticed a web site of the ex employees of Island Doctors dedicated to how badly the office is ran. I also needed to ask...a question on the weekend regarding my medication and was told I would have to Drive an hour to St.Augastine to have my question answered which could have easily been relayed over
