We have been patients at this pediatric clinic for some time, but our most recent experiences have been extremely disappointing and concerning. During our last set of visits with Jennifer Hartman, we were seen in the office four separate times. At one of those visits, she told us she needed to get something and would be right back — but she never returned. A nurse eventually came in and discharged us instead, leaving our questions unanswered. We later returned for a follow-up, and at that visit our concerns were brushed off and not taken seriously. That is what ultimately led us to seek a second opinion elsewhere. My little has been a patient here since she was born January 2024 and while we are now moving out of state, I just want to shed light on such an amazing experience we've had at this office. Finding someone to fully trust in to guide you in your child's wellbeing can be rough. Dr. Bruno and Tabitha (her nurse) uplifted me, guided me, and motivated me in the early days of being a FTM. They reassured every silly question and really practiced precautionary care which I believe can be so crucial in that first year. To walk into an office and watch people who get paid to be here genuinely love your little every single visit, even the cranky sick ones, should be reason enough that everyone chooses this office. We recently moved to the area, and I was looking for a new pediatrician for my daughter. Island Coast Pediatrics was able to see us the same day for my daughter's wrist pain (an annoying but non-emergent concern), and we had a great experience!! Every support staff member that we encountered (by phone and during our visit) was friendly and helpful. We saw Dr. Marritt and she was excellent - friendly to both me & my daughter, thorough in her evaluation, and compassionate. She truly took her time with us, discussing today's concerns and answering some other questions that I had. Highly recommend!!

If I could give a 0 I would, based on the fact that I have been taking my son here for the last four years. The nurses refuse to call you back, the manager is either never told you need a call back or refuses to call. The office messes up prescriptions left and right and refuses to do their job by reaching out the pharmacy’s to confirm who has the medication or can have this before he runs out of medication. But then says they are going to call the pharmacy and at least make sure the pharmacy is aware of the script. But doesn’t do it. Dr. is great and I only stay for her.

The first few appointments we had were not bad. We were told by one doctor that we can space out shots. This is apparently not the case. They send multiple people in to convince you, then ask if you are educated enough on vaccines. They then threatened to charge a few hundred dollars since they opened the vaccines. On the way out the provider made a rude comment hoping our child did not get the disease we did not get vaccinated for on that visit. Again all we want was to space them out. Also, if you plan on trying a few pediatric offices to see which is the best for your family they tell you that you cannot return to the practice if you try other offices in the area.
