Island Animal Hospital at Viera

All of the staff were very comforting in my experience with having to put our 19 year old dog down. They were excellent and compassionate! Everything they did was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone! They even took the time to put a heart on her bandage for her IV ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They explained every step of the process and allowed us as much time with Gizmo as we wanted. Thank you to all of the staff at Island animal hospital for helping ease the pain of having to put our fur baby down. I can't express enough how much it helped to have such compassionate and caring people around during that time.

We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved Yorkie, Becca, and we are incredibly grateful to the team at Island Animal Hospital for their compassion and care. During such an emotional time, Dr. Hennessy and vet tech, Rachel, were truly exceptional. Rachel gently explained each step of the process, so we knew what to expect, which brought us comfort and reassurance. Since her very first visit, they have been attentive, compassionate, and dedicated, always providing the best care. Today, with her surgery, they went above and beyond, taking care of every detail and giving us peace of mind during such a stressful moment. I called them because my dog had been limping and another vet office recommended them. They said yes for a same day appointment. The building is new and beautiful, the office and the staff were very nice, professional and super clean. The tech was super friendly and professional and the actual vet was fantastic. We will definitely be going back and will make them our dogs vets!

I’ve been taking my cat to Island Animal Hospital in Viera for the past few years because she has been experiencing severe allergies, and it breaks my heart to see her suffering. I have been trying to find solutions to help her, and I trusted this clinic to provide the care she needs. It’s hurtful to realize that a place where you once felt comfortable bringing your pet can end up making you feel like a number. Unfortunately, since they changed locations, I’ve noticed a significant decline in service, particularly in communication. The lack of communication happens repeatedly. I’ve called or texted the office with questions, and while I’m often told someone will get back to me, follow-ups rarely happen. I messaged them a week ago regarding my cat’s medication, and I’m still waiting for a
