Irving Pharmacy

Solid local pharmacy on Wyckoff Ave. The team here is friendly and efficient—they fill scripts fast (even without insurance in under 10 minutes sometimes), offer great prices, and are super helpful with questions or insurance stuff. Clean, no long lines most days, and feels like a true neighborhood spot. Docking one star only because it backs up a bit when crowded (popular place!), but overall way better than chains. 4 stars—highly recommend!

Great customer service. They are very responsible in letting my Mom know when they will deliver her medicines and when her prescription has run out. They even take the time to contact her doctors for a new prescription. They care about their clients.

Pros: Love that this is a small business local to my apartment. They always have my pills same/next day. There is barely ever a line, and if there is, it passes quickly. Big con: if you’re in a pinch with your pills and can only make it close to their closing time, you’re out of luck. I’ve tried to come by twice now 15-20 mins before their “closing” time of 5pm and have been turned away through their locked door. This is irresponsible for people who are dependent on their meds and don’t know this quirk of the business. Stay open til your closing, or change your closing time so customers can get what they need when they need it!

As a medical doctor and provider, I have found Irving Pharmacy to be one of the most pleasant, most responsive and most caring of pharmacies that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Their approach to providing medications to patients is head and shoulders above all of the other larger pharmacy chains with whom I have had to deal with. It is without reservation that I most highly recommend their services!
