Iowa Pediatric Dental Center - Cedar Rapids

We had a great experience at Iowa Pediatric Dental Clinic. The clinic was very clean and well-organized, and the entire staff was kind and welcoming. I would especially like to thank Lama, the dental nurse, for her patience and gentle care with my children. She was very good at communicating with them and reassuring them, which helped make the visit calm and stress-free. Truly a wonderful experience!

Something went wrong when I scheduled online but the front office was highly accommodating and got my son in anyway. Everyone was very kind and calm. My son’s 1st ever dentist appointment went smoothly thanks to the assistant Lami. The Dr had a good vibe about him as well. They let my son sit in my lap the whole time while they cleaned his teeth.

We always have a great experience here. The hygienists make the kids feel extremely comfortable, and they always explain things very well for them. The kids always end up leaving with a smile! Dr. Hamilton is also great with the kids and answers any questions I have. Highly recommend!

My son has been a patient here for close to 6 years & we have always good experiences. Today Heather handled his teeth cleaning and X-rays. She was very sweet and did a great job. Going to the dentist is never fun, but Iowa pediatric dental makes it about is enjoyable as it can be for kids.

As a mom of a 19 month old who has never had their child taken to the dentist, I was highly unimpressed and disappointed with our experience. We were sat in the middle of a room that seemed like an assembly line. We were taken back before the dentist was ready and had to sit and wait. Everyone had to listen to my son cry while waiting. Waiting for a 19 month old is incredibly hard. Due to his age, we should have been left in the waiting room where he isn’t expected to sit on mom’s lap for over ten minutes and there are things for him to do. There was then apparently drama among the dental assistants because as soon as the only dentist walked into the assembly line, one of them said “my two patients need to be seen first even though others disagree”.
