Ioannou Michael DMD

I’ve been taking my son to Dr. Michael for a little over 3 years. Dr. Michael and his entire staff are friendly, helpful and always go out of their way to make the children (and parents) feel comfortable and happy. From warm welcome at the check in, to the hygienists, they’re all exceptional. We had a small issue with something, and Dr. Micheal phoned us to discuss and everything was handled so well. I cannot thank him enough! We highly recommend the practice!

Dr. Mike is great. Very compassionate and gentle with his treatment of my kids. It’s a busy office which is a good sign that a lot of people are trusting their kids care to him and his team. The hygienist who does the teeth cleanings is awesome as well. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Mike!

Dr. Mike and his staff are excellent! My daughter needed extensive dental work and another dentist wanted put her to sleep to do it. Dr. Mike reassured us that we didn't need to take that risk and treated our daughter painlessly and with TLC. She did not experience any discomfort and is excited to return for her next appointment.

The staff is truly great. Very accommodating and understanding with children. Dental care is so important for the little ones and the entire staff makes a conscious effort to make all children feel comfortable. Would recommend to anyone in the Suffolk area!

We have been going to Dr. Mike for quite some time now at his garden city location for all of our children. However, our insurance recently changed and we called the office to find out if they accept the new plan. They promptly told us that the Smithtown location does in fact take our new plan. We gave all of our information and booked an appointment a month out. Today was the day of our appointment I left my 3 month old baby at home, took a day off of work, and took my other two kids out of school to make it 45 minutes away to our 11am appointment. As soon as we got there the brunette at the receptionist desk with the curly hair was barking at us that our plan is NOT active. Her tone was very condescending adn she made us feel as though we would not be seen because we have no insurance a
