Inspire Specialty Hospital

The staff at Inspire Specialty Hospital in Midwest City are the most remarkable group of medical professionals you could ask for. They are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, patient, kind, compassionate, and attentive. My mother had Stage IV COPD and was admitted with respiratory failure. Her prognosis looked grim and we thought we were going to lose her. However, the day before she was scheduled to be taken off life support, Dhundi Regmi, RN, SAVED her life!! After looking over her chart, he made necessary changes to her medication that literally saved her life. He gave my siblings and I over 8 extra months with our mom, and we will forever be grateful to him!! It truly felt like a miracle. Eliza my liaison, was amazing on getting me set up at this hospital! My case manager Stacia was awesome on getting me settled and would advocate for me and just good ladies in general! All my nurses were absolutely amazing in my care and went above and beyond to keep my pain under control and was empathetic and cared for my well being and that is rare these days because it’s not just a job to them, they actually care and respect you and don’t treat like you are an inconvenience but treat you like a human being just like they are!! Thank you very much Inspire Specialty Hospital for having a huge part in my healing so I can go home!!

For the most part, I am happy with the care that I am receiving. I've been here for well over a month, and very few complaints. The doctors have all been very good at listening. Nurses are kind, as well as all the techs that I have had. A couple of negatives would be how long it takes sometimes to get meds up from pharmacy, and also when my meals are sent in the strophome containers. The food is often like warm or cold. I would much prefer the metal lid and hot plates.

My aunt is currently in this facility, and I live out of state. Based on what my family is sharing about her care, it lines up with many of the negative reviews already posted. It’s incredibly disappointing that there doesn’t seem to be a consistent standard of quality care or compassion. If you work in healthcare—whether you’re a doctor or a CNA—you should treat patients with dignity and kindness. Families need to feel confident that their loved ones are in good hands. It’s hard enough having to place a loved one in a facility. The added stress of worrying about neglect or poor treatment is unacceptable.

See below. Awful and deadly. First, note wrong picture on Google maps. Find the picture with the sign. It looks like a run-down recycled nursing home. Was not as large as I thought it was going to be from other picture showed several floor building like a small bospital. This location has lots of busy faculty: too many patients per nurse. It seems like many of them are newly certified or graduated. Many decisions seemed questionable due to green staff (?) I'm not a medical professional and even I questioned some of their decisions. I attribute it to too busy with too many patients or burnout. Most of the nurses and staff when you talk to them seem fairly nice but follow up and keeping on top of things is awful.
