The security, front desk and doctors were all great, the nurses are horrible. The worst. Nasty for no reason. Dismissive when questions are asked. Cut you off, not allowing you to speak. Just zero professionalism. The doctor apologized on their behalf, how embarrassing for him. The positive was the waiting room was empty and we urgently needed my son stabilize from them botching his surgery. Now he has internal bleeding and this hospital has been the biggest joke. Waiting on a transfer out, and it’s not coming quick enough.

I truly wish I could give this facility a zero-star rating. Every staff member I encountered over the phone displayed a concerning level of irritability and ignorance, showing little regard for the well-being of patients or their families. My brother was newly diagnosed with schizophrenia here and even attempted suicide during a psychotic episode characterized by heightened paranoia and auditory hallucinations which lead him to this facility. We were misled about the care he would receive; after nearly being there for three days he was discharged early despite clear indications of his instability. (His cause worker “Brickell” said based on his evaluation, he would be staying from 5 to 7 day to be able to properly assess/stabilize him) Dr. Lopez and his team appeared overwhelmed by his rele

Been here for 5 hours while they look for bed for my 16 year old grandson. No one has been in to check on him for 3 hours now! Offered food when first arrived at 10 am but lunch came and went and offered none. Its now 3pm and they wont even look at me when i approach the nurses desk ( which i only approaced once so i wasnt bothering them). WTH kind of medical care is this

I would give 0 stars if I could. Husband was in pain ( it had to be bad for him to agree to seek medical help). But was totally ignored by nurses and doctor. 3 hours in and had to see why we werent getting any ultrasound results. Doctor finally came in and said we are waiting on urine samples “ well that’s going to be a hard one doctor. The nurse hadn’t been back to get it !! It’s still on the sink”. The whole time. They were all sitting at the desk laughing and on their phones. Doctor said they took it. And again I said no she didn’t it still right there!!!!!! So now another hour waiting for that. Just wanted to highlight and say thank you to the nurses and doctors who helped me out Saturday night/Sunday morning. I was visiting a family friend from LI and was staying nearby, when I developed a back allergic reaction to what I thought was bug bites. The itchiness got to the point of feeling like torture and I started to look splotchy, swollen, red, diseased, etc. I ended up going in at 2:30am and was seen quite quickly (especially compared to my local hospital). So just wanted to thank Dr. Antonino Insana for being so kind and not making me feel insane, Michael for keeping me chill and not hurting me with the IV lol, and Gary as well when he checked in.
