Dr. O’Brien and his staff are extremely friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and at ease during a time of great stress in my life. I was in a car accident damaging my spine and it was determined that we needed to do surgery, in the L5-S1 area, to repair the damage. The procedure performed was a newer anterior approach ( through the front of the stomach). I did have my concerns about having this procedure, as a 28 year old you worry about having surgery, but Chris and Dr. O’Brien reassured me I was in good hands. And they were right, the surgery went smooth and I was able to walk around just hours after the surgery. In the next coming weeks the pain was almost completely gone and I was able to live almost pain free. It’s been months since surgery and I am so happy I went

I originally presented to Dr O'Brien with severe neck and left arm pain. I did require surgery which was performed on 8/21/20 with great results. Not only do I not have any pain but on a preoperative MRI they discovered a lesion on the right side of my thyroid. After further testing the lesion turned out to be a fast growing cancer and it was removed shortly after. I now have an excellent prognosis and I am so grateful to doctor O'Brien and Chris who discovered this early and helped give me a better chance to beat it and enjoy life. Very happy with this practice and my results on both issues. Highly recommended.

Way back in 2001 I was treated by Dr.O'Brien at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia Pa. After suffering for years with disc and nerve pain I had a procedure that I believe was experimental at the time, involving replacing two disc with 4 titanium tubes filled with bone chips from my hip. The procedure involved going in from the front, a few inches from my belly button. Fast forward to 2024, this was the best decision I've ever made. Most days I don't even think about my back. I cannot thank you enough, Dr. O'Brien .

This practice is wonderful! I have had chronic severe back pain for years without relief. I was looking for non operative management and was nervous about going to the spine doctor but boy was I wrong. The staff is friendly and I was seen by Chris. He diagnosed me and explained everything to me clearly. Dr O'Brien did facet blocks on my spine and I haven't felt this good in years. Moving well, sitting, standing and walking without pain and I'm now hoping to strengthen my back to prevent my pain from returning. Love this practice from top to bottom . In February of 2017 Dr. Evan O'Brien performed a minimally invasive surgery (microdiscectomy) on my L4/L5. I can't say enough about how successful this surgery was for me. Before the surgery I was in pain for several weeks and first treated with injections which is the norm. The injections helped somewhat but I decided to have the surgery. Dr. O'Brien and his PA Staff (Chris & Nick) was awesome along with the girls in the office. My recovery was very short. During this time I had several follow-up appointments where the doctor and his staff continued to care for me and walked me through my total recovery. I would recommend Dr. O'Brien and his staff in a heart beat for anyone that needs this type of care. Thank you to Dr.O'Brien and his staff for a job well done.
