Ingraham Manor Nursing Home

I would actually not recommend this place my mother was on chemo and was dehydrated. She was having symptoms from the chemo, diarrhea and other things so she was completely dehydrated they decided to give her IV fluid and then something for the diarrhea after the fact they gave her one bag of IV fluid in a day and a half she couldn't wake up she was completely out of it her $700 iPhone was misplaced during this and the home decided that it's not their responsibility they almost killed her. We talked to the Doctor who had seen her that morning, He had said her kidneys were failing and wanted us to wait two more days to see if she came awake on the bag of IV fluid a day. She was transported that night into Bristol hospital they gave her two bags of IV fluid within an hour and she was up an

I would give zero stars if could. I do not recommend placing your loved one here. The patients have ankle monitors like a prisoner that go off continuously when getting anywhere near the elevators. They are put in a hallway all day for everyone to view them. Very inhuman treatment of most patients. I recommend the Pines in Bristol. I know people who have their loved ones there and are happy with the treatment they get. My loved one was not cared for properly for the condition that she had. Staff told different stories of what was going on.

My father in law was there for 2 weeks for rehab. They are so under staffed there beyond any ones thoughts. He would ring his buzzer to have an aide change his diaper,they would come 2 hours later. WHAT KIND OF A FACILITY IS THIS???? SOME of the staff were good , others were very rude. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK THERE!!!!!

Another year has passed since my last review, so I can honestly rate the long term care my mother has received at Ingraham. I get frequent updates from the nursing staff on any health related changes, regardless of how minor they may be and all her appointments. I appreciate the thoroughness and care the nurses and aids provide on a daily\24 hr. basis, it’s not an easy job and not everyone can provide the care they do. Also, all this coordination of care cannot be accomplished without the Administrative and Support teams. Special Kudos to Noreen for her communications, keeping us notified of the daily health issues that could impact the community and special events that Ingraham puts on. I'd like to know more details from the negative reviews. I was in Ingraham about 4 years ago for rehab. My stay was for 3 months due to complications. Back then I received excellent care. I was patient with the overworked aides. Many elderly patients are not able to adjust to strange places. This causes stress for all involved. It's not easy to care the elderly, even for the best staff. If family or friends see something wrong, report it. Don't come twice a year and make judgements. Some staff sucks, but others don't deserve to be lumped in with the lazy, incompetent staff. It's a good place.
