Inglis House

This facility presents a deeply troubling environment with unsafe conditions for residents. The odor throughout the building is overwhelming, and basic standards of cleanliness and care are not being met. Staff members often appear inattentive, leaving residents unattended for long periods—even when they require assistance with hygiene—resulting in individuals sitting for hours in soiled conditions. Requests for help, including those involving pain or the need for medical attention, are frequently ignored. Both staff and leadership demonstrate unprofessional behavior, and the facility is clearly understaffed, which contributes to the poor quality of care. Overall, this is not a safe or compassionate place for residents.

Horrible care for the patients! They leave the patients sitting in feces for HOURS!! They are not getting the therapy they need. My spouse is allergic to shrimp amd they just brought him that for dinner. When we sent it back they proceeded to bring him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Simply not enough for a 240 lb 6'2" man!!! The majority of the CNAs here are very rude and disrespectful! Only a handful that I can say really do their job properly! We have spoken up about everything that is wrong and we simply get told that they will work on it. Something needs to be done! The care they provide is unacceptable!!!

My relative has lived here for five years. Most weekends they leave her in bed for 1 or 2 full days and don't inform her on why. Every patient is wheelchair-bound. They have allowed the patients to sit in urine for hours. Some of the nurses have poor attitudes, speaking to a patient like a child, ignoring what they're trying to communicate. Place is often unnecessarily loud with staff speaking loudly / yelling right by a patient's door and alarms going ignored for long periods of time. At the very least, close the patient's door behind you so they don't have to hear that all day. Weekends are noticeably worse. I tried to not write a negative review because I know how hard the job can be but this has gone on for half a decade. Also, I have no control over the situation as I'm not her POA.

Not satisfied with the assistant administrator, Dale. Seems like he wants to take whatever little happiness these people have away. Edit to add. This place is filthy and also doesn't care about the people who live there that make this Inglis House. They feed these people slop, sometimes the same slop multiple times a week. Would love to know who is cutting corners. Don't send your loved ones here.

I know nothing about this place other than the piece I just saw on 6abc news. If the Wheelz band represents what they will do for the residents, then they get 5 stars from me. You can see the joy that the band brings to those residents...bought me to tears!!
