Ingles Markets

Over all decent. Prices were on par with all other stores in the area. Was a bit more run down than I expected. Other ingles have been better kept. The staff was friendly, and when I went the store was pretty much empty. It was okay. The beer selection kicked Publix butt however.

Went in last week and the store entrance was disgusting. Trash cans overflowing. Hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a while. Food bar had food everywhere. Produce section wa quite dirty as well. Come on managers, all you have to do is look when you walk in. Hire some cleaning people.

I went to buy a $25 T.J. Maxx gift card for my friend’s birthday on Tuesday. The cashier tried to scan it several times but couldn’t get it to work. She asked me two or three times to bring a new card, but after multiple attempts, it still didn’t scan. She then suggested I pick another one, so I chose a Marshalls card — but when I got home, I realized it was $50 instead of $25, which I had originally wanted. On Friday, I went back to the store to return the untouched card, but they refused to take it back. What shocked me the most was the behavior of Edwin Salazar, who was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in his tone and explanation. This is the second time of buying a sub sandwich & the rude woman refused to give me oil & vinegar for my sandwich. She said they were out of small containers & refused to put it in a bigger container. I ended up having to buy a sub dressing because I always oil and/or vinegar. I had to wait over 15 minutes at the deli meat counter to get help & the woman was polite until I said I was traveling then she became rude. I'm through this area frequently for work. It was a very poor experience. Both women were rude & the another deli employee was also rude. There are other options. Publix, Food Lion. Don't go here. Ingles thinks it has the market cornered. They don't. Overall, Publix is a better store. I do like Ingles subs, but I will never set foot in this store again.

At the end of the day being in the restaurant/ hospitality Buisness i am the most understanding about being short staffed however if you don’t CLOSE UNTIL 11pm There is no need to do a cash drawer swap at 10pm. Ive stood in line for close to 23 minutes for them to do this we come here regulary but self check out isn't even an option given. This place is already priced high and we come here for convince but i think i refuse to come back after years…management is laughing behind the counter as a line of 9+ customers forms…… NOT TO MENTION SEEING SOME ROACHES ON MY TRIP….
