Indiana Emergency Care

While I feel the doctor we had from this practice was excellent, the billing firm this practice uses is almost thug like. From the first call the last call, they were not willing to work with me to figure out why they were trying to over bill me. Finally I went to my insurance company and they set them straight. In the end I paid them what I owed them but that is 12 hours of my life I wish I could have been spending with my family instead of fighting with the billing department of this practice. The providers are ultimately responsible for this, they either know this billing firm behaves like this because they are counting on a certain portion just paying the "full bill" or they are ignorant. Either way I would avoid providers because of the billing company they use.

This took place years ago but I was visiting my sister in Lafayette and one morning she found unresponsive. I was taken to IU hospital and the emergency physicians saved my life. I had brittle diabetes and my blood sugars were over 800. They kept me alive long enough to be transferred to ICU in critical condition. I thank God every day for them.

Incompetent billing office. Corrupt business. Pray you never have to use their services.

This place had tried charging me many times for the same bill and now they are trying to get another 1500 dallers from me.
