Indian Trail Animal Hospital

We were in the Indian Trail area for vacation from northern Illinois when our older husky had a medical emergency. The entire staff at Indian Trail was just lovely to work with, and got us right in for a procedure at Carolina Veterinary Specialists. They were competent and caring on that visit. Two weeks later our dog took an abrupt turn for the worst in the afternoon. Despite being fully booked, they got us in for euthanasia. The entire process was so comforting to us. They never rushed us, were incredibly kind and compassionate, and truly gave our girl the most peaceful sendoff we could ask for. I cannot say enough about the entire staff, from the vets to the techs to the front desk staff - truly remarkable people all around.

We have had nothing but fantastic experiences at ITAA. We have had many happy visits and the saddest day of my life visits. The staff here TRULY love our furbabies like we do. I 100% recommend this facility for the best care.

We’ve had consistently wonderful experiences at Indian Trail Animal Hospital over the last 6 years, but I especially want to recognize Dr. Slusky for her exceptional care. She has guided both of my dogs through complex surgeries and ongoing medical issues with skill, compassion, and steady reassurance. She listens, communicates clearly, and treats my pets as if they were her own. Her dedication—especially with daily monitoring for my diabetic dog—has given me so much peace of mind. I’m incredibly grateful for her and the entire team.

This is the best place! I’ve been using this vet over 30 years when originally owned by Dr. Glenn! The quality of service has carried on through our many fur babies & we now see Dr. Wolfe, who is absolutely awesome. Yesterday, our Elvis needed emergency attention due to a small injury & we called, communicated with Dr. Slusky. I texted photos & she provided his meds & provided appt this am which saved us an ER appt. While I normally like to see Dr. Wolfe, Dr. Slusky was also awesome! However, the vet tech was so wonderful! Due to Elvis’ injury, he was unable to wear his collar or harness so I had to carry him in a crate. Ive had some health issues & she toted him back to the room. Indian Trail Animal Hospital is absolutely the best place I have ever been to a veteinarain. It was a emergency visit. Dr. Stover saved the life of my cat. He was so very sick. We wasn't sure if he would make it. Dr. Stover worked so hard an with so much passion for my fur baby, and for me. She was very thorough with the exam and was honest with me about his condition.But so kind also. Her assistant Charlotte, and what a great one she is. So caring, loving the animals so gental with love for my fur baby and us. She is just incredible. !!!
