My husband is in the memory unit. They people care and are reapsivie to him and the other residents. He is doing PT and they are doing an excellent job getting him up and walking and doing PT each day.

Do not send your loved ones here. Not for short-term rehabilitation and especially not for long-term care — unless you want to risk their life. The admissions department receives bonuses for every bed it fills, regardless of whether the patient is a good fit. As a result, many patients are homeless, have addiction, or have severe issues — they have attacked other patients, some yell constantly out of confusion, and others have attempted to steal medications. He receives a large bonus for each new admission and has repeatedly lied about the services offered here to persuade hospital patients/families to send people here. I have a very dear friend who is staying at Indian River center they keep a very good eye on her she has Alzheimer's so sometimes she can be a bit of a pistol but they always are kind and courteous with her and make her smile and make her feel at ease they've been very caring and helpful to make her feel comfortable.

My Mom was at this facility for physical therapy. I was not sure about this place at the beginning, but after a couple days I noticed how well my mom was being cared for. I have nothing but good things to say about every employee we came in contact with. Dietitians, nurses, CNAs, physical / OT therapy, front desk, case workers, and the list goes on.
