In The Vine Midwifery

This is my first review I’ve ever written. Andrea is THAT amazing! After a fairly traumatic induction with my first baby, I decided to have a home birth for the second one. This was my first home birth. Throughout the entire process Andrea was such a blessing. It’s clear how much she loves and thrives in midwifery in the personalized care she provides. She was always quick to answer any questions and respond to any concerns I had. She’s very relatable and easy to have conversations with. Because of Andrea, my home birth was so peaceful and beautiful. She was an amazing support during the entire process and postpartum. Andrea is the best! We became genuine friends through our care! We had a beautiful home birth with confidence and she made the whole pregnancy feel informed and natural! We would definitely go back to her if at all possible! I felt educated and cared for throughout the pregnancy and truly feel excited about another pregnancy and birth because of the caring environment in which we were able to have our baby!!!

I've been blessed to have Andrea at 2 of my home births. She is thoughtful, an expert in the area of home birth, allowing us mamas to bring our babies into the world in a peaceful and hands off way, and yet carefully cautious when warranted. I love that she keeps her practice low volume so that I could receive genuine care and time with her before, during and after my births.

Our experience with Andrea was fantastic! This was our first home-birth after two less-than-stellar hospital birth experiences. She set our minds at ease from the very start, and was always a prompt text away when questions or concerns arose during the pregnancy. We thoroughly enjoyed the ease of her home visits, and getting to know her along the way! Once birth got closer, she was extremely thorough with us on what to expect, and the emergency measures she had in place— again, putting our minds totally at ease. She made our daughter’s birth a very peaceful, healing experience! We are extremely grateful for Andrea and the gentle care she gave us as we brought our little girl into the world!

From the moment me and my husband had our first meeting with Andrea we knew she was the right medical provider to assist on the birth of our first child. I had a lengthy list of questions at the time, and Andrea tackled all of them with such patience and knowledge. It was such a breath of fresh air, specially after being completely dismissed by my OBGYN, to be faced with someone that truly cared about my opinions and desires on how I wanted to experience my baby’s birth. Needless to say, she demonstrated the same patience, love and knowledge throughout the entirety of my care. She taught me and my husband what to expect in labor when we took her birth class, and that gave us so much confidence on the process of birth.
