Insurance given to the hospital and they failed to give it to anyone else. One year later with absolutely no bill ever sent to me, I get turned over to collections. They won't file insurance because it has been more than a year. Both the hospital and everyone associated with the hospital billing practices are fraudulent. The only bill I received from anyone was the hospital, 800 dollars. I inform them that it was not filed with insurance. After filing with insurance it went from 800 to 4500. Thier reasoning, blue cross agreed to pay this amount for this service. BS!!!!

Trust the bad reviews. This is a scam business that uses unethical and predatory billing practices. They have sent me multiple false bills for services I've either already paid or my insurance paid. They wait more than 6 months to send these bills. They will eventually correct the mistake after much effort and time wasted on your end. This is clearly a scam to see if you will just pay them additional money without a fight. Or they are just massively incompetent, either way you should avoid. Even if you avoid doing business with this company directly you still need to make sure your provider isn't using them.

Got a random text saying I owed $500+ from this "company." Was sent the text from Imaging Associates of NM on 12/26/25 and my imaging was done at a hospital on 5/9/25, NOT at Imaging Ass. of NM. Way too long of time between service to bill, especially when insurance was not involved. Also, I was not told another company would review my imaging before my appointment. Like other reviewers said, they want information to bring up bill, plus they are saying I get a half-off discount if I pay in full right now. The lady that I spoke with at Imaging Ass. of NM said that it was a "self referral" as well. I sure as heck did not refer myself to Imaging Ass. of NM. I called the hospital radiology department and was told that since I was not established, and self referred TO THE HOSPITAL, the doctors

My experience with medical imaging is a very positive one, from checking in all the way to receiving my final report and images for my Dr. Checking in was easy and quick, the receptionist was always nice and the people who completed taking the image's was really professional at all times and treated me great.

I keep getting bogus texts requesting payment of an $550 bill. I have never received services from IA of NM LLC. I don't even live in Las Cruces! Please check why your organization is being hijacked to abuse unsuspecting people. It's your responsibility - not mine!
