I had to go for a social security evaluation for my traumatic brain injury. I asked for special accommodations (turn off lights and open blinds) and she refused! Said she felt threatened and would not do the evaluation. It is their job to make special accommodations for patients. Terrible! But what can you expect from a doctor who can't run a real practice?

For being in the Heath Care industry, they definitely don't CARE at all for their patients situation. I never felt more like less a human and more just another faceless animal in the pasture. It started with the receptionist being rude and passive aggressive when i tried to show my appointment paperwork that had all my info, name and appointment time, and said bring this to the appointment. I handed it to her and she didn't even glance at it and all of the answers to her wording were on the paper. The doctor was even worse and wouldn't listen and interrupted every time i was trying to explain my pain symptoms. Very rude, impatient, careless and unprofessional.

The receptionist was friendly. I had a noon appointment but was kept waiting for 45 minutes. The Doctor did not smile. She told me her name but turned her head when she said it, not really caring about introductions. She was matter of fact, when she saw I was upset she would not allow me to calm down before pressing me with mathematical questions. She displayed zero compassion and even less friendliness. Would it hurt her to smile and introduce herself? They made me wait but rushed through our session. It was a horrible experience.

IMA canceled appointments on 6-5-2025 for several veterans who have been waiting outside, the doors are locked. Nobody answering the phone, nobody called to to notify appointments have been canceled.. please call the VA if you have a similar situation with IMA.

Unprofessional and needs more staff. I was early to check in to my appointment and still didn’t get checked in until 30 minutes after my scheduled time, then I was placed in a waiting office for an hour. After completing my hearing test, I sat in the booth for 10 minutes with the headphones on waiting for the evaluator to finish my “paperwork”. After she opened the door, I asked her why I wasn’t released earlier and was held in the booth after the hearing test was finished. She didn’t have an answer which left me disappointed with my visit
