I normally do not write reviews because I work in the medical field and understand that some situations are outside of a clinic’s control. However, my last visit was extremely frustrating. In September, I went in for a routine cleaning with no pain or issues and was told that two crowns needed to be replaced. I received a quote and even set up a payment plan for the upfront cost. I returned to have temporary crowns placed, but two weeks later I was told the permanent crowns did not fit, requiring me to wear temporary crowns for an additional month. After this, I received a bill because my insurance initially stated they did not receive the correct documentation. After multiple follow-ups with both the office and my insurance company, I was informed that replacing the crowns was not medic

I had a tooth that was causing me severe pain and needed to get to a dentist ASAP. Ideal Dental was able to get me in the next morning! The wait was minimal, and the process of the exam and procedure was relatively quick but professional. I no longer experience any pain and greatly appreciate the Ideal Dental team for their help!

So far so good! The front desk was super attentive and helpful when it came to confirming insurance and options/cost. The dentist was nice, and the assistant was super cool and informative throughout.

We arrived for my children’s 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM cleaning appointments at 9:45 and checked in. Only one other patient was in the waiting room. Around 10:15, he was called back, and at 10:25 my son was taken in (his appointment was scheduled for 10:00). Around 10:40, another family arrived and was informed the doctor was running 30 minutes behind, something that had not been communicated to us at any point. My daughter wasn’t called back until 10:50, despite her appointment being at 10:30. My son finished around 11:15, and the other gentleman left at 11:20. My daughter told me that after her X-rays and flossing, no one had returned to complete her exam. Although the staff was friendly and I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment, the doctor was 35 minutes late to seeing me. He offered an apology for his tardiness and then an excuse: “our anesthesiologist is out today so I have to see patients alone.” These places bother you so much before your appt and send you so many annoying text and email reminders asking you ‘Are you coming to your appt?’ and ‘Remember, you have an appt today!’ and ‘Text C if you’re coming to your appt’ that when we as patients actually make the effort to come to the appt on time (nay, early in my case!) we aren’t acknowledged for doing so. Instead, we are rewarded with their tardiness = unprofessionalism. Is that fair? AND I still have not received the doc’s plan for me via email like I was told I was going to (
