Easy to book appointments online, completed all documents online as well before appointment and as soon as I walk in, I can tell I was going to be comfortable with my experience. The front desk team was welcoming and helpful, very thorough with my benefits and my plan for my next appointments. They are the best! Kennethia was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions and things haha she had so much patience for my nonsense. I was so nervous but was able to relax having her as an assistant. She made sure to calm me down and explained everything before she moved on. Dr. Dickerson was swift and helpful on my treatment plan, I can’t wait to get started! Ester was good too, but she probed my teeth and I didn’t like that 🤣

If you have extreme dental phobia like I do, this is THE place to go. Every one here is extremely kind and empathetic. The entire staff here is well knowledgeable of the dental care they're advising you of and take great care to perform exceptional work. They are understanding of the treatment plan you wish to pursue and they don't push any unnecessary dental procedures on you. Each staff member took the time to explain what they do and what they were going to be doing with me today. That level of communication throughout the whole appointment was greatly appreciated. Getting an appointment was very easy and they were able to schedule me quickly after my dog chipped my tooth on a Saturday. The cleaning was too quick and definitely not thorough. The hygienist randomly skipped around teeth instead of going one by one. The exam by the dentist was not thorough either. I have been to many checkups and cleanings over the years and this was the least thorough ever. This is disappointing because I’ll have to wait another six months for a proper exam and cleaning that will be covered by my insurance. Everyone was kind. That’s the reason for the 2 stars instead of lower.

My experience at Ideal Dental in Addison was horrible. The staff seemed very unprofessional — it felt like a group of high schoolers were working there. The doctor was rude and did not explain anything. She checked my teeth for about three minutes, and that was it. I felt rushed and dismissed. The office looked dirty and not properly sanitized, which was very concerning. The front desk staff were also unprofessional. I ended up leaving without getting my teeth cleaned because I did not trust them at all. Please stay away from this place.

I had a great experience at this dental office. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The environment felt warm and comfortable, which really helped ease any nerves. I was able to make an appointment online the night before. I had a horrible tooth pain and they were able to help me the SAME DAY. Now this is an excellent service. I’ve been do other places before and they always to make you wait bc they don’t have a doctors available however here they actually care about their patients. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for my checkups and dental work!
