Huron County Medical Care Facility

My family can not say how very special this place is and the wonderful care they gave to my mother-in-law. One of the hardest things to do is make life decisions for a fire cracker like our Carol was! The staff on second floor, therapy, cleaning staff, even laundry and the cooks were some of the kindest people I have ever known. Their dedication to each patient could be seen on all the smiling faces of each resident. I can honestly say they helped me breath through this awful time in our lives. I will miss seeing all their faces and always remember their gentle loving kindness they gave not to just Carol but my entire family! There is no other place that can come close to Huron Medical Care Facility! Thank you all for watching over my Mother in law, she rests in peace because you all chose

The staff here are amazing! They treated my grandma like family. It was very difficult having my grandma at a nursing facility, especially one far away. We asked her to move closer so she could be closer to family and she wanted to stay. We visited as much as we could. She was alway happy. My grandma loved the atmosphere and the staff, and especially the activities department. The activities department always had something planned for everyone. The best part is they take them on small trips in the area. The social workers are amazing as well. When my grandmas condition declined we make the decision to move her closer as she was no longer able to make decisions for herself. Without them it wouldn't have been possible. Very caring and compassionate. My Dad actually enjoyed being here because of the attention the staff provided. He was treated better than expected. Our thanks to the staff who went above and beyond for us!
