I checked into Huntsville Hospital outpatient surgery at 5:30 AM, Wednesday morning. I was scheduled for spinal decompressive laminectomy surgery at L3,4, and L4,5. For the last twenty months, I have suffered severely pinched nerves at these locations. The nerve impingement left my legs weak, and even a short walk left me very fatigued. As the months progressed, my overall health declined. During the first few months, my surgeon did not feel I was a good surgical candidate. However, sixteen months later, after reviewing my current MRI, he suggested that I proceed with surgery right away. The front desk employees have been very helpful and polite and the lady tending the ICU waiting area was very sweet and helpful. All the staff was great in the CVICU unit but there's a small issues after my fil got to the floor but things got straightened out and the nurses are doing a great job now. Thanks !!

I visited Huntsville Hospital Main ER after about 4 days of a horrific bite/sting. I felt the sting and I was outside on my deck as usual. I assumed a sting but didn’t see anything. I went to urgent care the next day because it was starting to swell and be irritating…..got antibiotics and prednisone. …. It got uglier….went to my general practitioner…..he had no clue. ….and didn’t offer much….by this point it was baseball size….weird blue purple red and looked like a hematoma….. (I’m worried about a spider by this point).Went back to family doc…. I want to thank the staff at Huntsville Hospital Main Imaging Center for their professional and excellent work. We took our daughter there on 01/10/2020 to have an MRI. I explained her situation and they didn't hesitate to be very understanding and caring toward her. They were polite, courteous, and very professional in everything they did. Thank you all, for making Tracie's visit very calming.
