Huntsville Compounding Pharmacy

I absolutely love this pharmacy. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been met with anything other than kind and professional people who are super good at what they do and really care to make sure I have all of my questions answered. They’ve also got a pretty good stock of Pure Encapsulations supplements for sale over the counter, among many other things.

Very nice establishment. Smells quite interesting as well. The lady at the front was quite helpful. A touch expensive and doesn't accept insurance.

The most god awful customer service on the planet, the woman at the reception faces may literally break if she smiled. Rude, and wrong.

Had an encounter with a female in this store today. The receptionist was very sweet and patient, but when she called the female from the back to talk with me to explain how the medication is supposed to be taken, she had a nasty attitude. Apparently, she didn’t like the fact that I asked her questions about the meds. She went on to say that I didn’t need to get hyper because the medication was a low dose, but I was not hyper, I just wanted to understand the medication. When someone is taking medication for the first time, he/she should be able to get a clear understanding, regardless of how many questions are asked. I guess if she is the owner, she feels like she can talk down to customers. Not acceptable.

More like COMPOUNDING my already awful schedule! I had to pick up pain medicine for my 19 yr old cat for oral surgery, she has an abscess in her mouth because she’s been on soft food for her kidneys for the past 10 years. The vet sent over the prescription Thursday afternoon, called and set it up in the morning on Friday, and sent me a text at 1 to pick her up. I work as a property manager which requires me to be on call 24/7, I didn’t see the text until later on Friday, and so this morning I get up to get it first thing and they are closed on Saturday. I’m not familiar with many pharmacies open only business hours, so why wouldn’t ONE of the employees mention that? Is it my responsibility to know this information.
