Firstly, Dr. Rubenstein is an amazing professional who i trusted instantly, and his care continues to be excellent. However, do not trust anything the reception or billing say and get everything in writing. I missed my first appointment, and when I came in again was asked to pay a missed appt fee. I agreed, and then was told that it would be waived as a courtesy since they normally waived first appt fees anyway. I was very happy with this, and went on my way, only to receive a call a month later, two hours before my next appointment, telling me I owed 75$ still. When I explained to the woman who called, her response was to laugh and insist that any such waiver could only go through her, and as Back Office Manager, SHE never approved it. If you’re looking for a doctor’s office that refills prescriptions on time or communicates with any sense of urgency, do NOT go here. I called yesterday evening for two prescription refills, both medications that cause serious side effects” if I miss even one day. The girl who answered the phone originally was polite and assured me, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure they fill it for you tonight.” I had no reason to believe at that time that this would be the outcome. Fast forward to today: no prescriptions filled. Still being calm, I called again, explained that I had a work trip and needed my medication before the afternoon. Instead of help, I was spoken to rudely and told, “You should’ve called a week ago, and I can assure you that you won’t be getting your prescription before 12.” This was s

My whole family, including my newborn daughter, i sunder the care of Dr. Rubenstein. We couldn't be happier! Since Dr. Rubenstein and Dr. Foster are both double board certified, they were able to take on my daughter and our appointments for the family couldn't be easier. I have been going to Rubenstein for over 20 years, and we love it here.

My whole family (and now my grandchildren) has been going to the HVPC since 1989. They are the best and probably one of the last group not affiliated with the mega groups. Each of them are the absolute best.
