First, I was shocked to read some bad reviews. I can only guess that they are for the ER, which I did not use at all. My dog Bear is 12 years old. Back in Feb, a vet in Strasburg, Va told us based on X-rays & a brief ultrasound they took, they thought Bear had an aggressive form of cancer. We were absolutely devastated to say the least. We reached out to the Hope Center. Within 3 days Bear was seen by Dr.McNeill. After some expensive but necessary testing, DrMcNeill called us (we were nearby waiting) to tell us there were no signs of cancer at all! Every single person at the center from the Doctor, to the receptionist to the vet techs, were all incredible, kind, caring, and amazing with Bear. He isn’t an easy patient being 80lbs & not liking the vets office. But the staff treated him so we

We took our dog last year in the early AM for emergency care. She was hospitalized for 2 days. It was twice the price of the other emergency vet we normally go to, but I will say the vets themselves gave great care. My 1 star review is because I will never forget receiving a call about a critical ultrasound that we were very on edge about. We asked about the results and the admin worker said we needed to pay first and then we could speak to the doctor. We would obviously pay but didn’t appreciate having our dogs health results held hostage until we paid. Every call we received from them took this general tone: pay us and then you’ll receive care and support.

Had my 13 cat Mollie at the Hope clinic for ultrasound evaluation today. Unfortunately, they found through ultrasound Mollie has cancer and is terminal. Dr Sholes took care of her and she was outstanding. She was very kind and compassionate handling this delicate situation. The staff was excellent showing kindness and empathy for my difficult situation. If your animal needs emergency care this is the best clinic in the area as far as I am concerned. Thank you Dr. Sholes and all of the staff. You are the best!

The ladies at the front desk are amazing: very personable, friendly, empathetic, and sweet and gives me the relief that my dog is in loving hands. My dog gets very anxious going to the doctors but Hope Oncology is the first time I've seen him less anxious. The only issue is the extremely old card machine not working that causes me to have to double check If i was charged twice. The computer system also seems to be really slow where the ladies have to compensate for the system's behalf and although the ladies are extremely patient which I appreciate, the machine's out of their control and can get in the way of checking out smoothly which I feel is crucial for an oncology hospital that can be very heavy to deal with for patients. Please get them a new card machine. Dr. McNeill is also very g

We are incredibly grateful to Hope Vet Animal Hospital for the exceptional care they provided for our beloved dog, Peanut. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in November 2023, and during such a heartbreaking time, we were fortunate to have been referred to Hope for his treatment. For 15 months, Peanut received the best possible care. Dr. Conor McNeill was not only professional and knowledgeable but also compassionate and patient. He carefully tailored Peanut’s treatment plan to each phase of his illness, always considering his blood-work and overall wellbeing. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming, answering all our questions and making scheduling easy. The vet technicians treated Peanut like family—showering him with love, treats, and walks, making sure he felt at home despite
