Hometown Dental

I used to go to Dr. Masters (now retired). He would take the time to look over my teeth and commented on some potential problems I could have down the road. Always gave me a toothbrush and dental floss when I left. Hometown Dental does not give anything. The dentist always seemed like he was rushing through to get me out as fast as possible. And then I had to give them a credit card in case I was a no show, so they could then charge me. Now that they have moved to State College, I'll be finding another dentist in Bellefonte.

Well I wrote this super long story of how Awesome Hometown dental is in detail in the comments. Well my phone or the powers to be ruined it. I just gotta say after 20 years of fear going to the dentist I found a home in Hometown Dental. My dentist made sure I was comfortable all the time and making sure I felt no pain. That in itself is epic. The staff is amazing and insurance or no insurance... They are my Dentist. If you have any doubts or fears? With Hometown Dental... Absolutely nothing to worry about. They will work with you cause they want the best for you. I lived it... Remember that

I have been going to Hometown Dental for several years now and I always have a positive experience. My 5 yr old daughter started going as well and they were wonderful with her and her first cleaning. There is one hygienist in particular that is always so sweet and warm and makes us all feel so comfortable.

My family has been going here for quite a long time, and I’ve always had great experiences. Dr Conklin was always super great, and when my child had a cavity he showed me where exactly it was, gave us our referral to get it fixed, and that’s what we did. Recently we went for both of my children’s six month cleanings. There is a woman doctor now I’m unsure of her name who saw them. She told me my child had two-four cavities in just six months! Impossible I thought. She didn’t show me anything, and never had x rays. Turns out after going to a second dentist for a second opinion , and having x rays done she has NO CAVITIES. We will not be going back to hometown, and we have switched dentists. Money grab company now.

The best dentist I’ve ever been to. always great results, very nice. always double checks before I leave if everything is good, highly recommend by far the best dentist around!
