HMH - Pediatrics - Sea Girt

I have been going to them for five years. Never was impressed about anything but they were convenient. These past couple of years have been terrible. Can never get my son in for a sick visit unless I call the morning of and still have to wait till the end of the day to see them. So if my son has a high fever the day before they want you to wait till the next day usually around 2 or 3 to see and treat him! Been told to call first thing in the morning for a sick appointment and have done that multiple times to be told there's nothing available. The people that handle the phones first the call center then have to be transferred to an actual person on staff at the office are usually rude. We never see his doctor and I always see a different person even for his regular appointments and annua

I’ve been meaning to leave a review. We’ve been coming here for a year and seeing Dr. Pantano. We love her, and she is really great and takes time to answer any questions we have. Every time I have had questions or concerns, I would put a call in and they would call us back in a very timely manner. I want to take the time to share my experience I had at Sea Girt Pediatrics yesterday. Our son wasn’t feeling great over the weekend, and it was impossible to get him in at any urgent care. I called the office as soon as they opened yesterday and told me to bring him immediately over. I was very grateful because it was a Monday and I’m sure they were extremely busy. Great reception desk + great answering service at any time. Great Nurse’s. We have seen all Dr’s here primarily Dr. Erin McFeely. Always makes visits fun for my kids & personable. Listens to every concern and very thorough. Exceptional care!

The staff nurses and doctors are all amazing. My review is reflecting on how the practice is run. If it’s a weekend or a holiday, you will not be able to get in touch with anyone from the office. The only person you’ll be able to talk to is an outsourced nurse advice line (talking to a nurse over the phone in a different state). In my opinion, parents should at least be able to get a call back from a nurse or a doctor that that actually works at the practice on the weekends.

You can’t go wrong with seeing any of the doctors here, they’re all great! We have been seeing Dr Fury for any planned visits, she’s very thorough. She once called to check on my daughter (8 weeks old at the time) multiple times throughout the day to check her progress, called the ER to give them a heads up we were coming in, and consulted with another dr after hours to get the best plan of action. We have never had an issue being seen same day for sick visits, and if you’re not sure if your child needs to be seen the nurses and staff are great at helping you decide. Entire staff is great with kids, and wait times are always minimal.
